Ocassionally, when I feel my head is about to explode from studying Italiano, I pick up Nikos Kazantzakis' Saint Francis, which is both inspiring and easy to read. I resonate with this quote of the character Brother Leo to his companion St. Francis:"Alas! God had made me neither a hero nor a coward, and my soul flitted constantly between the two."
